MIRROR LAKE — The ladies of the Mirror Lake golf club wrapped up a great season of golfing with three days of competition and celebration on Sept. 20, 21 and 29.

September 20 was the ‘Ace of Aces’ play-off between the best scorers from each month of the five-month season. Maureen Blackmore won the 10-person playoff, shooting a 32.

September 21 was the ‘Dot Game’, in which players receive a dot for hitting the fairway in regulation, and for one-putts, two-putts, pars and birdies. Etta Mae Schneurle was the winner with 17 dots.

Club Champion awards were given out during the end-of-season celebration banquet on Sept. 29. Champions are Julie Williams, with a gross score of 78, and Suzanne Cullinane with a net score of 68. Special recognition goes out to Blanche Studer, who played more games than anyone with 30 rounds of golf in one season.

The club welcomes all ladies at any level of play to come out and join them on the course next May.
