Boundary County has had many people over the years who have helped make this place what it is. Our cemeteries are filled with these individuals.

Do you know who these men are and what they are doing?

If you have an answer, please email doyouremember@meadowcrk.com. If you would like to stay anonymous, just let us know.

Saturday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m., the museum staff will be your guides on the Porthill Cemetery tour.

One of the individuals in this photo has been laid to rest in this cemetery.

Come join the group on this historic tour. The pre-registration fee is $5 which will be split between the Boundary County Museum and the Porthill Community Cemetery Association. You can pre-register at the museum.

Following the cemetery tour, you are invited to visit the old Houck farm house on the Farm to Market Road.

Answers to last week’s photo along with answers to this photo will be placed in next week’s column.

Your Boundary County Historical Society and Museum, 7229 Main, Bonners Ferry, Idaho sponsors this column. During the summer, the museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday.

To help maintain the buildings, a small entrance fee is charged at the door. The admission cost is $2 per person or $5 per family. There is no charge for

those under 14 years old or for the Boundary County Historical Society members.

Visit the website at www.boundarycountymuseum.org for a list of the latest events; follow us on our Facebook page; or give us a call at 208-267-7720.
