Election Process

There still is a lot of talk about last Novembers election in the news, and how Russia may have influenced the election. Every intelligence organization as well as congress are looking into the possible corruption of the election process.

It would be good for the people of Boundary County to know that the Boundary County Community hospital was involved in it’s own corruption of the election process by using Boundary County Hospital, owned by the “people” to be bill boards for their illegal election signs, telling us how to vote. The use of BCH general funds, and employees to promote and disseminate illegal electioneering materials orchestrated by the ‘political treasure’, the CEO of the Hospital, and BCCH Board. Also most every State of Idaho “sunshine” law was violated by the BCH to influence and sway the hospital levy election. (passed by less that 2% of the vote) Since when does a government entity use government property and hospital general funds, and labor to tell us how to vote?

The Hospital not only on this election but the last hospital levy election in 2008, did no reporting of the ‘sun Shine’ laws by BCCH.

We should not tolerate misuse of the election process. If we do not like big government corruption then why do we except it when it happens here?
