BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Warriors lived up to their name, battling the Sandpoint Bulldogs last Saturday in a home game. The Warriors won with a decisive score of 17-4, taking them one step closer to districts.

The Warriors offense spread the Bulldog’s defense across the field, creating open lanes for themselves, resulting in multiple goals.

In the third and fourth quarters, the Warriors stormed ahead. They went on a scoring streak, scoring 12 points to the Bulldog’s 1 point.

“The team was firing on all cylinders,” says Coach Travis Delaney, “They made good passes and the defense was spot on.”

The Warriors are out to prove that a mixed group of teens, from a variety of schools and home schools, can come together as a team.
