4-H Friday Friends program needs volunteers

| December 7, 2017 12:00 AM

Our program is in need of volunteers from our great community. We run every Friday throughout the school year (with the exception of school holidays and snow days) during the hours of 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Boundary County Middle School. The children adore community members popping in to say “hello.”

No skills necessary; all you need to do is donate a half hour, hour, even two hours of your time to the youth of our community. Read to them, share personal stories or information pertaining to the day’s lesson, teach the students a new craft or game, anything you can contribute. We are ready for anything.

Our current lesson began Dec. 1 and continues every Friday until Christmas Break (Dec. 22). It is centered around Greek mythology.

If you or someone you know may be interested in coming in and sharing your knowledge and generosity with the wonderful group of children, please contact the Boundary County Extension Office at 208-267-3235 or message us on Facebook: 4-H Friday Friends.

Thank you!!!
