Friends of the Restorium to hold Valentine's Day raffle

| February 9, 2017 12:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY—Friends of the Restorium will hold their 12th annual Valentine’ Day basket raffle beginning Feb. 3.

The seven Valentine’s Day-themed baskets will be raffled off in order to raise funds that will be used to better enhance the lives of the residents of the Boundary County Restorium.

With the help of the community, Friends of the Restorium have been able to raise about $225,000 over the past 12 years, providing residents with such things as an elevator, a back up generator, a hair care room, and a bathroom remodel with a walk-in tub just to name a few.

Along with the annual Valentine’s Day raffle, it is also that time of year when the Restorium ask people to either renew their membership or become a member of the Friends of the Restorium, which is only $5 annually.

With these membership dues, raffles, the summer BBQ, various donations from local churches, community members and memorial donations, Friends of the Restorium are able to provide residents with a quality life at the center, focusing on their physical and emotional needs.

Friends of the Restorium will be selling the Valentine’s Day raffle tickets on Feb. 3, 4, 10, and 11 at Super 1 Foods from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased 6 for $5 or $1 each.

The drawings will be held on Feb. 11 at 6 p.m.

Winners do not have to be present to win.
