Clarification

In a story published on Dec. 22, entitled “School board votes to maintain current levy amount”, we stated that “the district currently depends on this money to ensure that all six of the district’s schools — Mt. Hall Elementary, Valley View Elementary, Naples Elementary, Evergreen Elementary, Boundary County Middle School and Bonners Ferry High School — have enough funding to operate safely, smoothly and effectively.” That sentence should have read, “the district currently depends on this money to ensure that all five of the district schools have enough funding to operate safely, smoothly and effectively,” since the Evergreen school shut down years ago. We apologize for the error.
