Eagles to host fundraiser for Explorers
National Police Week is an annual ceremony held in Washington D.C. that recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. Law Enforcement and pays tribute to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
This year, the local Bonners Ferry Law Enforcement Explorer Post #190 is raising funds to attend this event. The explorer program gives young adults, between the ages of 14 through 21, the ability to receive training and insight toward a career in law enforcement.
The Bonners Ferry Eagles Aerie #3522 will be hosting a fundraising breakfast on Sunday, Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., with all proceeds going to help the Explorer Post #190 in raising funds to attend the National Police Week in Washington, D.C.
Scrambled eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, tropical fruit cup, coffee, tea, and juice will be served at Eagles Aerie, located at 7159, Second Street, behind Harvest Foods.
Help show your support of this worthwhile cause by attending this breakfast for a $6 per person donation.
