Raymond Park Winebark
Raymond Park Winebark, age 49, of Moyie Springs, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 24, 1967 in Punxsutawney, Pa. to Tom and Sue (Hoover) Winebark, Ray moved with his family to Troy, Mont. in 1979, where he graduated high school in 1986. Shortly after graduating high school, Ray met the love of his life, Theresa Farabee, and the two were married Feb. 14, 1988 in Libby, Mont.
Ray worked as a diesel mechanic at Meads Equipment in Bonners Ferry for a number of years, then at the Genesis Mine in Troy, before taking a job at Elk Mountain Farms shortly before his illness. He was a true lover of the outdoors--a hiker, hunter, and expert fisherman--and he was always willing to share his passion and knowledge with others. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a devoted brother and son, and a loyal friend to many. His devotion to his family and friends was evident at all times, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Moyie Springs; his sons Ryan and Clayton, his daughter Katelyn (and husband Aaron Twigg) and their children Kashus, Bullvie and Phoenix. Also surviving Raymond are his parents, Tom and Sue Winebark of Troy; his brothers, Dave (and wife Carla) of Rio Rancho, N.M. and Fred (and wife Courtney) of Troy; and his sisters, Debbie (and husband Doug Cook) of Kooskia, Idaho and Terrie (and husband Mark Palmer) of Kalispell, Mont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, and countless extended family, all of whom he loved and cared for deeply.
