Justice never sleeps

This year marks 44 years since abortion was ‘legitimized’ in America. Well over 50 million abortions have been sanctioned by our nation since 1973.

Our nation was founded as a Christian nation in which they believed in absolutes and that we owed our allegiance to our creator; where government had an obligation to recognize that all men were created equal and possess rights from God that were not ever to be violated- they described it in part in the declaration- Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Without recognizing and honoring the right to life there will be no other rights.

Our nation struggled with the evils of slavery and many of the founders petitioned for abolition. They believed that to fight the greatest military power on earth they needed the 13 colony to be united and the battle against slavery would be taken on later. Thomas Jefferson in reference to slavery said “And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever:” - the Civil War mostly answered that question in the blood of 625,000 solders (more than all World War I and II, Korea and Vietnam combined) What will be the justice of 50+murders sanctioned by abortion? His justice will not sleep forever.
