Debbie Brooking recognized her daughter in last week’s picture of the Naples eighth grade basketball team. The year was 1988 and they were the Wolverines. Debbie named the team as follows: Lisa Regehr, Nicole Smith, Karen Shaw, Lisa Frederickson, Nancy McCalmant, Shawn Liermann, Gwen Hansen, Danielle Brooking and Coach Sara DeBuhr.

Your Boundary County Historical Society and Museum, 7229 Main, Bonners Ferry, Idaho sponsors this column. During the summer, we will be open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To help maintain the buildings, a small entrance fee is requested. It is $2 per person or $5 per family. There is no charge for those younger than 14 years old or for the Boundary County Historical Society members. This Saturday, July 15, the dedication of the new interpretive signs to mark, the Crossing of the Kootenai, Electrifying Bonners Ferry and Solving Power Problems. The celebration will take place at 1 p.m. on the north end of Main Street near the Pelton Wheel. Come on down and show your support.
