Letter To The Editor

Ms. Bateman:

I don’t understand how people who do not live in this community, this county, or North Idaho are permitted to submit their opinions week after week. And I don’t need a political writer from Medimont or a Rep from Plummer to tell me what to think or how to vote. They should confine their opinions to their own districts.

Hearing updates from Crapo and Labrador, as well as Reps Dixon, Scott, or Keough are informative — they actually represent us. But Rep. Paulette Jordan and political writer Chris Carlson (who wrote an opinion 2 weeks ago!) are being given free space to promote their opinions and candidates, and push their agendas from parts of the state that are a world apart from North Idaho.

Surely we can do better than this. If not, once our current subscription expires we will not be renewing.
