Last week was a pretty easy one, but I guess everyone was fooled with all the brick. We shared a picture of Don Morice replacing the windows in the Megquier-Houck building in March of 2010. This is the building that currently houses the museum but started out as the Crescent Garage & Plumbing Company in 1917.
Charles W. Megquier would become a dealer for Ford touring cars and a distributor of Fisk tires. His family would reside on the top floor in a seven-room residence that included indoor plumbing. To learn more about the history of the building, you may read about it in the last edition of the Herald or take a visit to the museum.
