BONNERS FERRY — As this season draws to a close, we thought you may enjoy a look back at some of the fun that was had, from the hard scrabble Lacrosse Warriors who refused to give up, to the Badger Softball team, which brought home the State Championship for the first time.

This season saw the Badgers Baseball team defending their title to the end, taking second in State. They earned the distinction of having the most-watched webcast from the baseball tournaments with over 10,000 live viewers, according to IdahoSports.com.

A state record was broken by Isaac Lavala, a football player who found he had a gift for pole vaulting, as he soared to new heights by clearing 15’2”.

What every one of these athletes had in common, was amazing spirit , a fantastic team of coaches who believed in them, and the support of a proud community.
