Deep Creek Loop open to traffic

Public Information Officer Mike Meier announced that, as of May 22, all Boundary County roads are now open to Hauling.

The following emergency road closures from flood related damage are still in effect:

n Oxford Road is closed on the north end at Usher Lane (Address 1111) continuing south around the corner to Address 942.

n Fleming Creek Road — hill only — is closed from Address 1092 continuing west down the hill to Address 3451.

n Kootenai Trail Road is closed from Address 4894 continuing east down the canyon and back up the hill to Address 5622.

The Boundary County Road and Bridge Department announced that, as of May 25, Deep Creek Loop is now open to travel from the north junction at HWY 95, by the Mirror Lake Golf Course, continuing south to the junction with Peaceful Way.

This is a temporary repair and is a “25 MPH” zone with one lane being gravel. Please use caution as there is loose gravel and the south bound lane has a soft shoulder.
