Hannah Sims DYW Participant #8

Hannah Sims is sponsored by PEO. She is the daughter of David and Stephanie Sims. She has on sister, Isabella. After high school, Hannah is unsure where she will attend college, but intends to pursue a degree in a math or science field. Hannah finds historical figures Katherine Johnson and Rosalind Franklin interesting, as well as modern personality Simone Biles.

Hannah keeps busy by participating in Cheerleading, Student Council, Leadership, ballet, and piano. In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and swimming. For her talent, Hannah will be performing a piano solo.

When asked what makes her least proud of her generation, Hannah states, “I am least proud of our overuse of texting and social media. Some conversations need to happen face to face, no matter how uncomfortable that may seem.”
