Kianna Higgins DYW Participant #12

Kianna Higgins is sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi. She is the daughter of Barry and Darlene Higgins. She has one sister, Shaleyna. After graduation, Kianna plans to college to become an Interior Designer. Kianna is intrigued by modern personalities Ellen DeGeneres and Nick Vujicic, and finds historical figures Rosa Parks and Thomas Jefferson interesting.

Extracurricular activities that Kianna enjoys include Dance Team and Volleyball. She also enjoys hiking, baking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. For her talent, Kianna will be performing a contemporary dance.

When asked what makes her least proud of her generation, Kianna states, “We over use unnecessary technology. We spend too much time looking down at our phones rather than interacting with those around us.”
