In last week’s photo a group of young ladies were participating in the Miss Bonners Ferry pageant. Miss Bonners Ferry, would become Junior Miss and now is the Distinguished Young Women program. The photo was from 1965. Jenny Fessler was able to identify the women, left to right, as: Jeanette Hilliard, Sherry West, Ellen Rae Pruitt, Toni Hilton, Jenny Sinclair, Danette Ripatti, and Sheryl Leonard. She tells us that Danette would win the title of Miss Bonners Ferry that year.
