Sheriff's Office offers winter driving course

| November 2, 2017 1:00 AM

According to Public Information Officer Michael Meier, the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting two winter driving courses for the public.

The purpose of the class is to provide some basic tips and instructions to help inexperienced winter drivers get around safely this winter. They are partnering with Les Schwab Tires for the class. They are providing free ice scrapers for those that take the class along with one roadside emergency kit that will be given away to one lucky person from each class.

Class size is limited so please sign up early. The class will be held at the National Guard Armory building meeting room on Friday, Nov. 3, from 3-5 p.m., and repeated on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9-11 a.m.
