USFS pile burning update

According to Boundary County Public Information Officer Michael Meier, U.S. Forest Service personnel will be checking existing burns in the Twenty Mile area as smoke is still visible from Bonners Ferry. Please also note that smoke may still be visible from the Camp Nine, Eastport and Snow Creek area spot burning sites.

The Forest Service will start burning piles in the Hall, Harvey and Wall Mountain area today which will continue all week.
