Susan Lee Reoch-Rogers

Our beloved Susan Lee Reoch-Rogers passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, friend and auntie. She enjoyed gardening and reading, deeply embraced her faith, loved the outdoors and mountains, even small things like feeding birds near her house, and had a special love for her family and grandchildren. She is a member of the Bonners Ferry Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and will be reunited in paradise with friends and family in the grace of our Lord.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kira and Gretal; three grandchildren, Samuel, Malachi and Zarah; numerous nieces and nephews; her many special friends; and her loving dog Molly.

Susan was born on Sept. 15, 1943, in Silverton, Ore., to Lester and Arlene Cole. She grew up and attended schools in Woodburn, Ore. She graduated high school from Laurelwood Academy, and received her nursing certificate in Glendale, Calif.

She worked at General Hospital in Walla Walla, Wash., when she met Douglas Reoch. They were married on Sept. 19, 1969. They moved to Bonners Ferry in 1973 and had two precious daughters. Susan worked as a home health nurse and in Hospice care. She and Doug later separated.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Theodore Reoch, and six siblings Bill, Jeanne, Ed, Dorie, Don, and Richard.
