Boundary County School District #101 Call for Bids - School Bus NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Boundary County School District #101, Bonners Ferry, Idaho for the following: One (1) Seventy-One Passenger (77 Passenger Style Body) School Bus Bodies and one (1) suitable chassis. Body and chassis are to be purchased as complete units for delivery no later than February 14, 2018. Bid forms are required and may be obtained with bid specifications from the School District #101 Administration Office, 7188 Oak St., Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday until the day of bid opening. Bid specifications and forms may also be obtained by contacting Transportation Supervisor Bill Irwin at (208)267-2425. Questions regarding bid specifications are to be directed to Mr. Irwin. If there are any objections to specifications, please notify the district in writing ten (10) days prior to bid opening. Sealed bids will be received at the Boundary County School District Administration Office at 7188 Oak St., Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017. ORDINANCE NO. 126 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOYIE SPRINGS, IDAHO PROHIBITING THE USE OF UNMUFFLED COMPRESSION BRAKES ON MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOYIE SPRINGS, BOUNDARY COUNTY, IDAHO; GENERALLY DESCRIBING UNMUFFLED COMPRESSION BRAKES, REQUIRING THAT SIGNS PROHIBITING THE USE OF UNMUFFLED COMPRESSION BRAKES BE POSTED AT THE ENTRANCES TO THE CITY OF MOYIE SPRINGS, IDAHO, PROVING FOR A VIOLATION OF THE ORDINANCE AS AN INFRACTION AND PROVIDING PENALTIES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOYIE SPRINGS, BOUNDARY COUNTY, IDAHO: Section 1: No person operating a motor vehicle, including a motorcycle, within the incorporated limits of the City of Moyie Springs, which vehicle is equipped with a compression brake that has not been properly modified and/or muffled, so as to quiet the noise made by such brakes, shall not use that brake within the City at any time. Section 2: This ordinance shall not be interpreted or applied to permit the sounds emitted by the exhaust system of any motor vehicle to exceed that as provided by Idaho Code §49-937. Section 3: Prior to enforcing the provisions of the ordinance, agents of the City shall post an appropriate sign prohibiting the use of unmuffled compression brakes at the existing entrances to the City of Moyie Springs, and then file with the City Clerk an affidavit that the warning signs have been properly erected at the entrances with a detailed description of their exact location. Section 4: After unmuffled compression brake prohibition signs have been erected by agents of the City, any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be considered guilty of an infraction, and shall be subject to a fine of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) including court costs. Section 5: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and publication in the Bonners Ferry Herald, a newspaper of general circulation within Boundary County, Idaho.
