Man arrested for alleged child abuse

BONNERS FERRY — Kyle Fuller, 34, was arrested on Oct. 19, and is being held on $125,000 bail. According to the Deputies Report from the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, Fuller was under investigation for child abuse of a 4-year-old boy.

According to the Boundary County Sheriff Press Release, “The victim required significant medical treatment for injuries caused by Fuller.”

Boundary County Sheriff Detective David McClelland obtained an arrest warrant on Oct. 19 for Aggravated Battery. At approximately the same time, Fuller was arrested for an unrelated charge.

According to the deputies report, Fuller allegedly sold a motorcycle to Kyle Watts of Woody’s Gun and Pawn store on Oct. 14. Kyle Watts requested that Boundary County Sheriff Deputy Caleb Watts run the VIN on Oct. 18 and it came back as matching the description of a stolen motorcycle.

Fuller returned to Woody’s Gun and Pawn at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19 at which time Deputy Watts made contact with him when he was allegedly attempting to sell or pawn DVD movies. According to the case report, Fuller was placed under arrest for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Bonners Ferry Police Sergeant Willie Cowell searched Fuller before transporting him to the Boundary County Jail, according to the deputies report, at which time he found a bag of white crystalline substance, weighing approximately 3 grams, which field tested positive as methamphetamine.

Fuller is scheduled to have his preliminary hearing on Nov. 3.
