'Pinot, Pilsner, and The Pearl': A fundraiser from a galaxy not far, far away

| September 7, 2017 1:00 AM

Please join us on Thursday, Sept. 7 for The Pearl Theater’s annual wine/beer walk and membership event to kick off our season. We will travel from to five locations, “feeling the force” as we sample a variety of wines and/or beers and tasty appetizers in downtown Bonners Ferry. Gather a group of friends and stick together as you visit this year’s participants: The Rusty Moose, Under the Sun, Heart Rock Wines/Crosstime Saloon, The Springs at the Kootenai River Inn, and The Pearl Theater.

Our final stop ... a party at The Pearl with Quarter Moon until we’re all worn out! We will enjoy drinks and more appetizers, music, and several drawings for participants (must be present to win).

We will gather between 5 and 5:30 p.m. at the parking lot Woody’s Gun and Pawn, where they will receive instructions, tour guides, passports, and swag bags. Costumes are never required, but always encouraged ... so if you’ve been dying to don the Star Wars garb, go for it!

Advance purchases encouraged due to limited tickets. Available now — $20/members and $25 non-members (applied to membership if you join) — at Bonners Books, Mountain Mike’s, or by phone (208) 610-2846. Tickets also limited to 21 years and older.

The Pearl Theater is a non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering the performing arts throughout Boundary County. We are located at 7160 Ash Street in Bonners Ferry, just south of the Casino. Turn East off of Highway 95 and look for the steeple.
