BFHS's first swimmer is making waves

On Saturday, September 16, Julia Cummings traveled with the Sandpoint High School swim team to an Icebreaker Meet in Asotin, Washington. Seven high school swim teams were represented.
Cummings placed third overall out of 62 swimmers, with a personal best of 26.10 seconds in the 50 meter freestyle, which qualified her for State, and placed fifth overall in the 100 meter backstroke. Bonners Ferry High School placed fifth overall in the team rankings.
Cummings next swim meet is next Saturday, September 23, at the Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene.
