BCSD 101 Classified Employee of the Month

Mrs. Blackmore’s students especially appreciate how, “she teaches us to read and do math.” Another student stated, “she’s funny, caring, and very nice. She also teaches me about money.” An additional student stated, “I love Ms. Penny!”

The staff at Valley View Elementary School stated that, “Mrs. Blackmore is fantastic! She works very close with our team to help any and all kids. She is here beyond her contract hours and works incredibly hard.” Another staff member stated, “Mrs. Blackmore comes to work happy and excited to be here every day and the students look forward to seeing her.” An additional staff member communicated that, “Mrs. Blackmore gets the most out of our students and does a great job problem solving. She not only gives back to our students, but also to our staff and is a delight to work with every day.

Mrs. Blackmore has a husband named Barry and four wonderful children that all reside in Bonners Ferry. During her free time Mrs. Blackmore enjoys quilting, knitting, gardening, and baking.

BCSD 101 is very lucky to have Mrs. Blackmore within our district educating and supporting our students.
