Spring break 2018 was a good time for all, but we are really happy to be back at Valley View Elementary School. We have so much planned this spring and have only 35 school days left to get it all done.

With that said, every month at VVES we celebrate a different character trait and get the opportunity to highlight our wonderful students. This month we celebrated the character trait of honesty and the following students were highlighted by their teachers. They are: Laura Fuentes, Breeanna Mass, Jacob Hammer, Jay, Newhouse, Zoey Ferrell, Kamryn VanCamp, Sophia Jackson, Ranessa Steel, Victoria Carmen-Helspar, Jessie Chavez, Allen Rozok, Cameron Kerttu, Gabriel Jones, Justin Feri, Logan Brinkman, Kimberly Lucas, and Kyleigh Brewer. Please congratulate these very honest students when you see them.

Mrs. Petesch, our PE teacher, is encouraging all families to exercise together and participate in the Family Fitness Challenge. This month’s winner is Lexi Wells and she won a new badminton set. Congratulations Lexi! If you would like more information regarding this great program please check out Mrs. Petesch’s PE link on our school website.

Please know that we encourage parents and family members to visit and or volunteer often within our four walls. We at VVES believe it is critical to partner with families to educate the powerful minds here at VVES. Please let our secretaries know if you would like more information about volunteering within our school and or district.

VVES is a busy place and we have a lot of great things going on within our school. Please check out our website for the most current information at: www.vves-bcsd-id.schoolloop.com
