Baked Breaded Parmesan Pork Chops
This is a new recipe that I developed. You can buy Italian bread crumbs in the store or you can make your own to use in the recipe. Recipe for the bread crumbs included.
4 pork chops
1 Tbsp olive oil
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
Mix last 4 ingredients together. Rub chops with oil. Cast crumb mixture onto chops coating them well. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Bread Crumbs
8 slices dried bread
3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1½ Tbsp instant minced onion
1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
½ tsp salt
dash of cayenne pepper
2 tsp crushed oregano leaf
¼ tsp crushed marjoram leaf
¼ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp fennel seed, crushed
¼ tsp crushed basil leaf
Cube bread put into food processor or blender and add remaining ingredients, blend until bread is fine. Bread crumbs may be refrigerated for up to two weeks of frozen up to three months in an airtight container.
