Richard Charles Rawson

Richard Charles Rawson, 68, passed away peacefully at his Bonners Ferry area home on June 22, 2018.

Services were held Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, from 1–5 p.m. at the family home, 248 Giles Connection Road.

Richard was born in Lansing, Mich., in August 1949.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1970 during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge.

On June 5, 1993, he married Marsanna Puente in Reno, Nev. They moved from California to Idaho in 1996 where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and living off the land.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marsanna Rawson, his children Janie Rawson-Jones, Julie Rawson, Becky (Steve) Shroll and Richard (Chelsi) Rawson, grandchildren Travis Chelsi, Zack, and Lindsey Rawson, Rachael, Jade, Steven, Joanna Shroll, Beckham Stewart and Clara Rawson, and brothers Michael and Dewey Rawson and sister Sandra Motttinger.
