Golf fundraiser to benefit Fry Healthcare Foundation

The 10th annual Fry Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament will be Friday, Sept. 7, at Mirror Lake Golf Course south of Bonners Ferry. Check in at 11 a.m., shotgun start at noon. The full day of events includes a cookout dinner and prize presentations including witnessing “The Great Golf Ball Drop” and a fly-over by the Life Flight Network Crew. All ages and skill levels welcome!

The event has three entry categories:

Business Sponsorship – Champions ($1,000), Eagle ($800), Birdie ($500) and Par ($250). Prizes, giveaways and other donations welcome.

Team Registration – A “Team” consists of two players. Businesses and Groups can register as many “Teams” as desired. Entry Fees are $50 per player or $100 per team. Dinner and green fees are included in the Entry Fees.

Individual Player Registration – Individual players are welcome. Once registered, you will be paired with another individual player. Entry Fees are $50 per player.

Teams and players can pick up registration forms from Mirror Lake Golf Course or the hospital.

This year the proceeds from the event will fund Vital Signs Monitors (Robonurses) for Acute Care, Emergency and Extended Care Facility. Don’t play golf but you want to support the Foundation? Then consider buying a numbered golf ball for the Great Golf Ball Drop. A Cascade of Golf Balls flowing toward the green on the Ninth Hole of Mirror Lake Golf Course at 6:30 p.m. ... The ball that stops closest to the hole or falls in first will mark the winner of two kayaks, two paddles and two life vests from Far North Outfitters ($1,000 value) donated by Life Flight Network.

Numbers are available from Fry Healthcare Foundation Board Members, Columbia Bank, Edward Jones Investments, Far North Outfitters, Riverside Auto Center, Boundary Community Clinics or Boundary Community Hospital Outpatient Services. Each number is $5. Buy one (or more) today – entry deadline is Sept. 4!
