Gun Club News
“Dukes Clay Busters” Aug 15: We had one school shooter, Melanie Campbell, all other shooters were working their summer jobs or at the fair. No problem, as school starts in two weeks and the students have to earn money when they can. After school begins I’m sure Saturdays at 10 a.m. will be steady.
Bonners Ferry Gun Club Aug 19: Wow what a group of trap shooters today— had 17. We shot six or seven practices rounds before the Annie Oakley’s. There were four Annies with 15 shooters. Fred H. is still hungry as he won two again. Very good shooting as with the smoke, the targets were hard to see clearly.
The Duke Clay Busters raffle sale at the Boundary County Fair was very successful— only a few more to sell, which will be available to buy at the Barrel Racing Event, Aug. 25, at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. We are hoping to be able to have the drawing at the event for the Five Prizes. We will be there at 10 a.m. before the races start at noon. Look for us there. We would like to thank everyone for the great support of the High School Trap Team and raffle sales. The whole community has come together for this. There are five great prizes to go for.
Good Luck To Everyone.
