BONNERS FERRY — On Aug. 23, the Badger boys played their first home game against Priest River, winning 8-0.

The team then played against Stillwater Christian School in Kalispell on Aug. 25. The Kalispell team played a tough and physical game, but the Badgers won 1-0.

“Our defensive effort was outstanding and we held Stillwater from scoring.,” said Coach Wayne Wilkerson. “At nine minutes into the game, Hanson Wakeman was in the right place and at the right time, during a corner kick, and scored our only goal. We’re looking forward to another tough game when we head off to Kalispell later in the season.”

Their next home game will be against St. Maries on Aug. 31. For more information on scheduling, visit www.bfbadgers.com.
