The Point Series Events came to an end with the conclusion of the Club Championship. There was $540 in the pot and Art High is the winner of a season pass for the 2019 season. Coming in tied for second was Scott Schopen and Brion Poston who will each have $70 put toward their 2019 season pass.

Winning the Thursday Night League for the season was the Nu Tech Team with 291.5 points followed by JRS surveying only a half point behind with 291 points. Coming in third place was Mugsys.

Special thanks goes out to Bill Gutknecht. He runs the League extremely well (which takes a LOT of work), but he also, through League membership monies, was able to give out over $3400 in prize money gift certificates for the League and Club Championship. That’s awesome! Also, thanks goes out James Mize at A&P’s Bar and Grill for sponsoring the Close to the Hole during League nights as well as the Club Championship (and Long Drive too). He also donated the Pendleton Whiskey golf bag drawing to help fund Junior Golf.

Winning the latest version of the Thursday Night Scrambles on Aug. 23 was the team of Teague Mullen, Haven Burton, Rich Hodler and Dick Staples shooting an incredible 9-under-par 27. They were followed by the team of James Mize, Julie Williams, Matt Morgan, Bob Schnuerle, and also the team of Chad Kimball, Joe Bopp, Mike Halford, and Travis Delaney who were only one stroke back, firing 28s.

The Thursday Night Scrambles occur every Thursday and is open to everyone. If you would like to play, please call the Pro Shop at 208-267-5314 for more information.
