Jump on in to the new House of Bounce
BONNERS FERRY — On Friday, Dec. 7, the House of Bounce will be opening their doors for the first time at 9 a.m.
Justin Gibbins and his wife Charlotte Gibbins saw a need in the community for a fun, indoor entertainment facility and came up with the idea of opening a bounce house. There is a lounge area for the adults to commune in, and there will be espresso coffee and refreshments for purchase as well.
“It’s something that this community really needs,” said Charlotte Gibbins. “Our kids need it, everybody’s kids need it. When it is cold out nine months out of the year, the kids get stir crazy when they can’t just bounce all that energy out.”
They will also be offering nerf gun wars, among other ideas that are still formulating.
“Our goal is to provide a fun and safe place for the kids to play and the parents to hang out,” said Justin Gibbins. “It’s hard to find a place where your kids can play while you spend time with your friends. There are very few things for adults and kids to do together, so that is the idea behind it.”
Providing a place for kids to go after school where they can get energy out, or hang out with their friends, the House of Bounce is filling a niche in Bonners Ferry.
It is located adjacent to Burger Express in the Boundary Electric building at 6690 Main St. They can be found on Facebook under House of Bounce, houseofbouncebf.com, or call 208-946-3021.
