NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Boundary County Commissioners will hold public hearing at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2018, in the County Commissioners' Office located in Room #28 of the Boundary County Courthouse, 6452 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry, to consider the following request for a variance and to accept public comment on this matter. The request, made by property owner Travis Wisberg for parcel #RP62N01E109005A, located in the 800 block of Homestead Loop, is for a variance of the location of an approach from the Road Standards Ordinance. The deadline for written comment and material is by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018. Written comment may be mailed to Boundary County Commissioners, P.O. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Two County Planning and Zoning members sought Boundary County Commissioners are seeking letters of interest from those in our community interested in serving on the Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission. Two people will be appointed to fill the expired positions of members whose terms expire 01/17/19, said appointment to begin on that date. Those interested must have been a full-time resident of Boundary County for a minimum of two years. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets in the Extension Office (behind the Courthouse) on the third Thursday of each month (at 6PM) and hears a variety of land use applications, weighing the pros and cons of proposals and rendering recommendations or decisions based on the provisions of the Boundary County Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance 9B18LOV1. Those interested should mail letters to Planning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, e-mail them to planning@boundarycountyid.org, or fax them to (208) 267-7814. The equipment that is available for purchase is a Wrecker Body with a 40,000-pound hydraulic winch with a 360-degree extendable boom, 1969 Jeep 6X6, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 1995 Chevrolet Suburban, 1992 International Van, and a 1997 International Brush Truck.
