Courtesy photo Black ice on the highway caused a tractor trailer hauling cars to go off the road and strike a tree early in the morning of Monday, Dec. 17. The accident occurred near Idyl Acres on U.S. 95. Hall Mountain Fire, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and Boundary County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call. The driver of the tractor trailer walked away from the accident and Boundary Ambulance was not required. The scene was cleared around 4 p.m.
