BONNERS FERRY — From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, the Exhibit Hall at the Boundary County Fairgrounds was filled with women and children as part of CREATE: Craft. Relax. Enjoy. Accomplish. Talk. Eat.

Volunteers led people on a crafting journey making a pinecone swag, jeweled beanie hat, stained glass ornament, necklace, peppermint foaming hand wash, or a wood snowman candle. At the end of the day, people could take home their homemade items as keepsakes or to use as gifts.

The event was put on by organizer Star Williams, working on the behalf of Mountain Springs Church Women’s Ministry.

“I know a lot of women are always appreciative of it,” said Williams. “It always ends up being a fun time.”
