Bonners Ferry School Trapshooting
“Dukes Claybusters” had six shooters this week including one new shooter, 13-year-old Seth Rice, shooting a 9 and 12, very good shooting for the first time. Big brother Jr. Wade Rice had a 23 and 20, for a high of 43 tying the adult shooters. Nick White broke 16 and 14 for a 30 good shooting, he missed the last two weeks. Falen Eberhardt 14 and 13, Rebeckah Erickson 12 and 13, Blake Copeland 15 and 13. The total high score in second place is Wade Rice, out of approximately 25 Junior shooters, all youth shooters are doing a great job for this time of year.
Bonners Ferry Gun Club members shot in the fog and rain most of the day. High score 16 yard was a 25X25 by yours truly, and Charley Runnion, Wally Dinning, and Ken Nystrom all had 23X25. “A” class was won by Charley Runnion 43 over Clint Kimball 43, by count back and Dennis Johnson won “B” class 40 by count back over James Daniels 40, good shooting in that weather. We had Annies for meat prizes and great fun. Hope to get more shooters as the weather warms up.
We had 24 shooters.
Have a good week and keep your powder dry.
