Barton Lee (Bart) Dinning

Barton Lee (Bart) Dinning passed away on Dec. 23, 2017 at the Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Bart was born Nov. 9, 1943 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He hit the ground running. Playing in the mountains and fields with his many cousins. In High School he met Sharon, the love of his life. Married for 55 years they had four children: Kathy, Daniel, Bridget, and Charles.

After traveling all over the country they made their home in Boundary County where Bart was a sawyer. Loving the mountains he was always taking the family hunting, fishing and camping. One of his favorite things was just taking a walk in the woods.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, four children, eight grandchildren and four-great grandchildren, and many, many cousins.

Bart wished for no services to be held — rather, he wanted a celebration of life instead. We will be having that in July.
