BFHS Clay Target Youth Club
“Dukes Claybusters” had one more chance at breaking a good score for 2017, as the last practice rounds for the year were Saturday, Dec 30.
B.F.G.C. had no shooters as the coach called it off because of to much snow and bad roads. A little bird told me that most of the young shooters all had sore arms from shoveling snow. I hope they heal up for next Saturday.
I personally love all sports and would encourage all students and parents who can, please attend a basketball game, wrestling match, volleyball game, etc. to support our school activities. The Boundary County School system has done a wonderful job of furnishing all these sports activities, which means all participating students must keep those grades up, Remember there are scholarships available in academics as well as sports, including shooting.
Sunday, Dec. 31, B.F. Gun Club had nine shooters braving the cold. The club would like to thank Mike Pruitt, Mike Jelinek, and Mike Teems for the snow removal jobs.
Remember the Spokesman’s and Sky Net shoot start next weekend. Jan. 7, 2018. And the same time on Sat. Jan 6, 2018 for the Dukes Claybusters.
Hope for warmer weather and keep your powder dry.
