Jessica Noel (Barton) Soule

Jessica Noel was born on Dec. 5, 1983 to Jamie and Pam Barton in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

She was born with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. Before her second birthday, Bradley joined the family. Three years later, Samantha came along. By 10 years of age, twin boys, Jonathan and Joshua were born. She so loved these babies!

At a young age, she spent some time at a YWAM school in Hawaii where she invited Jesus into her heart. When she came home, she decided Bradley needed to be saved, so she got him into the bathtub and proceeded to baptize him — much to his annoyance at the time. Her faith remained strong, keeping her positive during illness and challenges throughout her entire life.

When Jessica was in Middle School, the family moved to Alaska. Jessica graduated from Kenai Central High School, and attended the University of Alaska. She got itchy feet and decided to move to Florida, where she met Joshua Soule. They were married and moved back to Bonners Ferry where their son, Sawyer, was born. Two years later, a daughter, Savannah, was born.

Jessica and Josh divorced but have remained friends and co-parented their two children.

After their divorce, Jessica moved to Spokane and went to work for Delta and later, Southwest Airlines. She lived her passion for travel, and was able to travel all over the world.

Tragically, Jessica passed away on Dec. 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents, Walter and LaVeeda Linnemeyer, Felix and Clorinda Abeyta and Charles and Evelyn Jensen; and Grandfather Zeke Mokry. She leaves behind her children, Sawyer and Savannah; Parents, Jamie and Pam Barton; Sister, Samantha West; Brothers, Bradley, Josh, and Jonathan; Grandparents, Delores and Rick Rickena; Doug and Lucy Jensen; and Jim Barton; and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Bridgeway Assembly of God Church in Bonners Ferry.
