Duke's Clay Busters
Duke’s Clay Busters
Week Two- Wade Rice tied for first with two other Juniors, one from Metaline Falls and one from Thompson Falls, Mont. with a score of 23X25 16 yards and 21X25 Handicap for a total of 44X50. The score is as good and better than most of us adults “Good Shooting”, to all of you young shooters. Week three had only three shooters; Wade Rice- 22X25 16 yards. and 12X25 hdcp. from the 24 yard line. Blake Copeland- 15X25 16 yards and 13X25 hdcp. from the 18 yard line. I am very pleased to announce another Sub Jr. 13-year-old, Rebeckah Erickson 15X25 16 yards, and 15X25 hdcp., first time out. You boys had better keep your scores up, also a reminder to all about their grades. We hope to see more School shooters next week.
B.F. Gun Club, week three Spokesman and I-Net. Weather was 38 degrees with a slight breeze and sun breaks, had 18 shooters. Charley Runnion won “A” class with a 43X50, over Ken Nystrom by count back and Stan Snyder won “B” class, with 38X50 by count back, good shooting guys,
The four Annies Oakleys were great fun from the 27 yard line, or further back, if you were good enough to make it that far in a tie for one of the three meat prizes available .
I hope the good weather holds, have a good week and keep your powder dry.
