Rev. Alvin Millard Stevens

Rev. Alvin Millard Stevens, 89, was called home to be with the Lord at his Bonners Ferry home while surrounded by family on June 27, 2018.

He was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Cromwell, Okla., to John and Mary Stevens of Seminole, Okla. He served in the military during World War II and was honorably discharged. Afterward he married Irma Jean Pryor on April 4, 194, and became an ordained minister. He pastored and preached revivals at many Pentecostal churches throughout the years in California, Kansas and Oklahoma before settling in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, in 2005.

He had three children: Nancy Thornbrugh Martinez (Marty) who lives in Naples, Idaho. He’s preceded in death by his sons Richard Stevens and Terry Stevens, son-in-law Mike Thornbrugh, granddaughter Irmajean Spencer, five brothers and three sisters.

He’s survived by his wife of 71 years, Irma Jean Stevens; his daughter Nancy; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His burial and memorial will be held at Little Cemetery in Little, Okla.
