Fire danger rising

According to Boundary County Public Information Officer Mike Meier, the U.S. Forest Service and Idaho Department of Lands report we are approaching the conditions for High Fire Danger. Given the forecast for warmer weather this week the Fire Danger Level will be moved up to high in the north valley and mountains.

Idaho Department of Lands is issuing burn permits for burn barrels and residential yard waste.

Please be very careful with fire when you are in the forest, or live an area adjacent to any forest or grassland.
