Louisa Brockly Hawks passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on July 3, 2018.

Preceded in death by her parents Louis Brockly and Evelyn (nee Reiter) Brockly, she is survived by her husband William Hawks, a brother Louis Brockly, daughters Teresa Higgins and Jessica Greenawalt and granddaughter Madeline Rasey.

Louisa was born on Feb. 22, 1945, and raised in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where she graduated from high school before moving to California. She eventually moved to San Diego, Calif., where she enjoyed living the majority of her life.

She was a generous and loving person with a passion for animals, cooking, gardening, quilting and thrift store shopping. She will be missed by all who knew her.
