Who is the Best of the Best in Boundary County?

Now is your chance to tell us. Voting for the Best of Boundary County will be live from June 18 to July 1. Make sure you log on to place your vote for your favorite. We have four categories this year; Best Business, People, Automotive, and Dining, with subcategories in each.

Dust off your walking shoes!

The seventh annual Bonners Ferry CROP Hunger walk on Saturday, June 9, at the Bonners Ferry High School track from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The CROP walk is like a walk-a-thon or jog-a-thon. People get sponsors and then show up Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to do their laps. There is no required amount of laps. People can get per lap or flat rate pledges.

The money raised goes to help fight hunger. Twenty five percent of the money stays in Bonners Ferry and is given to the food bank and 75 percent goes to CWS (Church World Services) to fight hunger worldwide.
