BONNERS FERRY — Abbey and Eric Pipitone, owners of the Log Inn, have been hard at work renovating the property. Recently, they have added three new log cabins that are available for the public, and plan to add two more.

Two of the cabins have two bedrooms, one bedroom with a king sized bed and the other with two twin bunk beds. The third cabin has one bedroom with a king sized bed, kitchen, bathroom, and a sofa sleeper in the family room. The cabins also have fully-equipped kitchens, complete with everything one may need to make a meal.

“We get a lot of tourists over the summertime, the cabins are here more for families and people staying for longer terms, that are looking for more of a house atmosphere,” said Abbey Pipitone.

They also implemented 10 R.V. sites by the cabins that are complete with water, electricity, and sewer hookups.

“I stay here a couple times a week, and the stays are always amazing, the beds are awesome. I usually get up at night at least once, but here, I don’t wake up until there is sunlight,” said Jay Nelson.

“There was a need for some extended stay and RV options, so we decided to develop that,” said Eric Pipitone.

They have owned the business since the end of 2016, and they continue to have the goal of establishing an area that meets the needs of visitors.

“We want to get that property established, and hopefully if it does well, we can open up the property on the other side and expand even further,” said Eric Pipitone.

With the landscaping and the log buildings, the Log Inn brings a comfortable country feel with the welcome home attitude of Boundary County for visitors to enjoy on their travels through the area to their desired destinations.

The Log Inn is located at 43 Tobe Way, in Bonners Ferry, their phone number is 208-267-3986, and they can also be found on Facebook and TripAdvisor.
