Adam Hall to coach at 2018 U23 World Championships

| June 28, 2018 1:00 AM

His goal was to wrestle on a World Championship team. When former Badger and Boise State University 2X All-American Adam Hall made the USA Wrestling University World Team in 2016, he thought his dreams had come true. However, when violence erupted in Turkey, the U.S. State Department canceled the trip, and Hall was never able to compete.

Fast forward to 2018 and the next best opportunity arose. As one of the Wolfpack Wrestling Club coaches, Hall guided Hayden Hidlay, 70 kg (NCAA D1 Runner-up) and Michael Macchiavello, 92 kg (NCAA D1 Champion) to gold at the U23 World Team Trials in Akron, Ohio. Adam Hall, along with his parents, Dr. Roland and Linda Endow Hall will finally make that long awaited trip to a World Championship on Nov. 12-18, this time in Bucharest, Romania.
