Five Badgers earn all-IML honors
Photo by Tanna Yeoumans Bonners Ferry basketball players Seth Bateman, Kadi Bateman, Miranda Wenk, Kassy Skeen and Chris Sabin were recently named to the all-Intermountain League team.
Three Bonners Ferry girls and two boys recently were named to the all-Intermountain League basketball teams.
Seniors Miranda Wenk, Kadi Bateman and Kassy Skeen earned all-IML honors for the girls’ basketball team, and junior Seth Bateman and senior Chris Sabin were all-IML in boys’ basketball.
In addition, Badgers Brady Bateman and Sabin were named to the West Team boys roster for the District 1 All-Star basketball games, which will be played Friday in Mullan, Idaho. Complete rosters — comprised of North Idaho senior basketball players — are listed below.
The girls game begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7:45.
A 3-point contest will be held at halftime of both games, with a slam dunk contest during the halftime of the boys game.
