The Pearl to present 'Little Mermaid' production
Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite this weekend when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students present “The Little Mermaid.”
The local cast features India Kucherry as the Little Mermaid, Celia. Also featured are her three sisters, Delia, Amelia and Ophelia who will be played by Sarah Geyman, Tobey Jensen, and Meggie Kahanek. Gil, the Merboy next door will be played by Canaan Jones and the country singin’ Starfish will be played by Elizabeth Bourassa.
The Royal family includes Zach Carver as the Prince, Matthias Merrill as the King and Kylee Olson as the Queen. The Snoopy Seasiders will be played by Kyalynn Comer, Ruby Jensen, Zabrielle Tuma, Violet Hyer, Chenoah Fasani, Wyatt Lang, Avery Cushman, Gunner Stevens, Caleb Jones, Benjamin Hollabaugh, Robert Elam, Addyson Merrill, Lexi Maynard, Wyatt Blackmore, and Oriana Lopez.
To complete the ensemble, Jaden Hyer, Gillian Geyman, Josiah Geyman, Mina Lang, William Hollabaugh, Aiden Jacobson, Annabeth Comer, and Liliana Brinkman will appear as the poetic Town Criers, the dynamic Sea Scouts include Jonathon Geyman, Seth Tuma, Pamela Snyder, Lily Butler, Cana Jones, Katie Cushman, Katahdin Fasani, Ahanu Fasani, Tristan Thomas, Rachel Thomas, Melanie Campbell, and Juanita Tavar, and the galloping Seahorses will be played by Eliza Hyer, Aryanna Sanders, Miles Oxford, Brock Tuma, Kaylee Stolley, Nicodemus Harbke, Marlee Kuehn, Emily Elam, Levi Merrill, Abigail Thomas, Adele Fasani, Helen Blackmore, Cambri Gardin, Brecken Miller, Joan Moelhmer, Isabell Solum.
Sophie Morgen, Eloisa Gorino, Karis Draxlir, and Natalya Tuma have served as assistant directors throughout the week.
‘The Little Mermaid’ will be presented at Becker Auditorium on March 16 at 6:30 p.m., and March 17 at 1 p.m.
